Losing a parent is a journey no child should have to face, but at Pillars, no girl ever walks it alone. With warmth, strength, and unwavering care, we stand beside each girl, helping her turn pain into resilience and loss into light. At Pillars, grief is met with compassion, challenges are transformed into opportunities for growth, and every girl learns to see herself as strong, capable, and filled with potential.Through friendship, encouragement, and love, we empower girls to embrace who they are, discover their inner voice, and step forward with confidence. Together, we nurture a future overflowing with hope, courage, and possibility.
Because at Pillars, every heart has the power not only to heal, but to shine brighter than ever.

Each month, Pillars comes alive with six vibrant get-togethers across our three locations- Brooklyn, Lakewood, and Monsey. Every branch offers dedicated programs for each division: Pillars Junior (PJs), Pillars Teens, and Pillars Prime. These evenings brim with delicious dinners, exciting activities, lively games, and heartfelt discussions that spark inspiration and connection. Alongside the fun, each program also weaves in our signature month-by-month series—equipping the Pillars Teens and Pillars Prime girls with tools of resilient grief and Emuna, blending positive psychology with connection to Hashem to help them navigate their journey with strength and hope. What truly makes these gatherings special, however, is not just the program. It’s the warmth, the laughter, and the friendships that blossom.Month after month, the girls leave with renewed energy, deeper confidence, and the powerful reminder that they are never alone; they are part of the Pillars family.

Our Shabbatonim are the crown jewel of Pillars—life-changing weekends that girls carry in their hearts forever. Hosted in beautiful hotels, every detail is carefully designed to nourish body, heart, and soul.
From the moment the girls arrive on Friday, they step into an atmosphere bursting with joy, warmth, and belonging. The program is overflowing with world-class entertainment, dynamic and empowering workshops, and divrei chizuk from renowned speakers. Five-star seudos and exquisitely prepared hostess packages make each girl feel cherished and pampered.
Shabbos itself becomes a transformative journey of song, laughter, tears, and inspiration—where walls come down, hearts open, and friendships are forged for life. By Sunday, the girls return home renewed, empowered, and uplifted—with memories that will fuel them long after the buses pull away.

A few times each year, all of Pillars unite for electrifying, large-scale celebrations. Whether it’s a dazzling Chanukah event with top entertainment, a Purim adventure at Urban Air with celebrity entertainers, or a summer poolside BBQ with laughter and music, these gatherings are unmatched in energy and joy.
Every detail carries the unmistakable Pillars touch: world-class entertainment, exciting programming, top-tier gifts, and always a meaningful message to bring home. These events send our girls back glowing with happiness, connection, and strength.

The Big and Little Sister program is one of Pillars’ most heartwarming treasures. Older girls are paired with younger ones, becoming trusted “big sisters” who give time, love, and encouragement.
Whether through outings, games, homework help, or just meaningful conversation, every moment builds cherished memories.
More than fun companionship, these bonds empower the younger girls with role models who show them how to grow with grace and resilience—while the older girls discover the joy and strength of giving back.

We know that the days surrounding a parent’s yahrtzeit can be among the most difficult. With deep care and sensitivity, Pillars delivers beautiful, thoughtful packages to each family during this tender time.
Each package includes comforting pastries, personalized קי״ט tehillim cards, and a heartfelt poem—gifts of love and strength that remind every girl she is not alone. In those vulnerable moments, Pillars surrounds her with comfort, compassion, and connection.

At Pillars, every milestone is embraced with joy and honor. Birthdays are celebrated with meaningful gifts and personal recognition, reminding each girl how deeply she matters. Bas Mitzvah girls receive personalized presents that mark their growth with dignity and pride. And when a Pillars girl becomes a kallah, she is gifted a Bosch challah maker, an empowering symbol of her new beginning and the family that continues to embrace her.
Every milestone becomes more than a moment. It becomes a celebration of resilience, hope, and belonging.

Navigating shidduchim with one parent can be a daunting journey, but at Pillars, no girl walks it alone. We’ve cultivated a trusted network of dedicated shadchanim who know and care deeply for our girls.
Through “Meet the Shadchan” events, our girls connect in a warm, supportive, and pressure-free environment. With dignity, guidance, and encouragement, Pillars stands by each girl, helping her walk this chapter of life with confidence and grace.

Pillars is more than a program. It is a lifeline. Beyond our events, we serve as a resource hub for the many needs yesomos and their families may face.
From housing placements and referrals to personal guidance or simply a listening ear, Pillars is there. With an expansive network of trusted contacts, we are privileged to support our girls and their families in countless ways. Whatever the need, Pillars is ready to step in with compassion, strength, and unwavering support.

Led by Shoshana Rube, the Resilient Journaling Workshop is a safe and empowering space where girls learn to transform pain into strength. Through guided prompts, journaling, and creative expression, they uncover resilience within themselves and discover the healing power of words.
Week after week, writing becomes both a release and a source of empowerment, helping the girls build confidence, process their experiences, and find their voice. It’s not just a workshop; it’s a journey of self-discovery, healing, and hope.

Shoshana Rube
After losing her mother at the young age of 15 and navigating the journey of loss alone, Shoshana Rube made it her mission to do all that she could to ensure that no other girl would have to face that kind of pain in isolation. She went on to write the book Forever With Me, a heartfelt depiction of her personal journey through loss, healing, and growth. The overwhelming response to the book, made it clear just how needed this kind of support was. And so, in 2010 the Pillars family was born.
Shoshana Rube dedicates her life to walk alongside girls and families who have experienced loss. With deep empathy and a gentle presence, she supports, connects, and empowers in the most meaningful ways. For Shoshana, it’s a real privilege to be part of each family’s story, offering strength, comfort, and a sense of hope as they find their way forward.
From one story of loss came the Pillars family where no girl ever has to feel alone again.
